About Evan
Evan is a freelance writer and phot08-er-graph-er who lives in a trailer park in Oildale, CA with his girlfriend Crystal and his dealer known locally as "Methistopheles". Evan spent his childhood wandering the banks of the Kern where he sifted through discarded condoms and beercans for food until the drought of '87 dried up not only the riverbed but his ambition. Accepted into the prestigious Sally Struthers University where he received his degree in TV/VCR repair, Evan was forced to consider a career change due to the development and success of DVDs. The producer and downloader of several spoof songs and vidoes, Evan's efforts were unrecognized and unrewarded thanks to the theft of his stolen laptop by his former dealer and a raid by SAG in conjunction with the MPOA. Undeterred, Evan continued his education, eventually receiving a Ph.C. at National University in 2004 while simultaneously submitting several unpublished works for CSUB's mOrFees4us, a sleeper journal where Evan writes of his dream of wearing dark glasses and a sexy black latex coat while speaking in a didactic monotone. Author of several unpopular local blogs, Evan is currently working on his current novel, Homeless on the Streets of Bakersfield, which currently fills one stolen Albertsons shopping cart and encompasses over 1,000 discarded brown paper napkins and numerous marginalia written on unsold copies of The Bakersfield Californian given to him by his mentor, Mr. Steve Swanson, inventor of the tv dinner by the same name. Evan is the proud father of several children according to Kern County child support court documents although he and his transgendered partner have no plans to bear children in the near future.
