About galvandr
I was born in San Diego and at age 4 my father moved us to his birth place in Bakersfield. I graduated from BHS in 1973. After a couple of months of work, I decided to join the U.S. Army. I served for 21 years and retired from service in 1994. I continue to work for the U.S. Army as a Military Analyst and employed at Ft. Irwin, Ca. at the National Training Center writing training scenarios for Army Conventional Forces, Green Berets, SEALS and Marine Special forces. My wife and I have three children; My oldest daughter is in the U.S. Air Force and is currently stationed in England with 14 years of service; the middle child, my son is a U.S. Army Ranger currently stationed in Iraq; my youngest daughter is currently finishing her studies and most like at this time will go into the medical field. We have three grandchildren with a fourth expected in the spring of 2008.
