I am the Contributions Editor at The Bakersfield Californian. This means I work with freelancers and citizen journalists who contribute articles and photos to the newspaper. You can submit your stories at Bakersfield.com/yourwords.

Previously, I was the multimedia editor. In that capacity, I worked with our staff on the videos, Podcasts, audio slideshows, photo galleries, and other interactive features we offer at Bakersfield.com.

I am also a board member for the Kern Press Club, a local organization of media professionals that gives scholarships to journalism students.
