I am The Californian's first Web copy editor. Born in the valley and raised in Bakersfield, I went to Humboldt State University for my journalism degree. I worked as a reporter and editor at several small newspapers in that area before moving back in 2005. I worked on The Californian's copy desk for more than two years before moving to my new position on the Web Team.
