A resident of Kern County since January 1968. I have lived on the Westside and owned the Fellows Hotel for a short time before transferring to Bakersfield when Standard Oil moved its offices to North Chester Ave. I have worked as an electrician mostly since moving here but was a Maintenance Supervison for a company at Shafter Airport for 12 Years before I was forced to retire. My memberships include the American Legion, VFW. Elks, Moose and other volentary positions. I am currently a caregiver and have great emphathy for our medical and social workers who daily risk their lives to take care of the sick and injured. I think these people deserve as much comsideration as any county employee.
