I was a wild and crazy guy. Unfortunately, in the past, I was sometimes not a very nice guy. But I began a transformation in 2001 that has led me to enjoy life for what it is. It wasn't without cost. I had to surrender all that I thought was "cool" about me. I had to accept a lot of facts and truths about myself that we usually won't even face much less acknowledge and come to terms with. It was tough but it was the best decision I ever made in my life and it's been so worth it! Which brings me to: If I ever hurt you in any way, for whatever reason, I want to give you a genuine and sincere apology. We can come up with rationalizations for our actions, but those excuses pale in the shadow of our wrongdoings. If you contact me, I would be happy to do this personally 1 on 1.

I am currently a Certified Registered Addiction Specialist (RAS). I'm giving back to folks who are still suffering. But if you find it difficult to have compassion for the addict and alcoholic then have compassion for those who love them, care about them, want the best for them and are forced to slowly watch them destroy themselves. Those are the true sufferers.

On a lighter note, my daughter and son-in-law, Lisa & Jim, gave birth to the sweetest and most beautiful baby girl (Makena Elaine) last May the 2nd, 2008. Lisa is my inspiration. She is the strength and smart and loving person that I can only dream of becoming.
