I visit Bakersfield several times a year for business. My hobby is dog agility and I compete nationally with a few of my many dogs. My primary residence is in Colorado where I teach Agility as well. :-) I'm hoping someday to get an RV where I can travel more with my dogs to more trials. I used to do alot of sheep herding with my Border Collies, however I sold my large ranch and all my sheep so we stick to Agility now. My favorite breeds of dogs are Border Collies, Australian Shepherds and Pomeranians. I've done a great deal of dog rescue over the years and have personally rescued and rehomed about 200 dogs. Most of them Australian Shepherds but Poms and BC's as well. I have formal training in dog behavior, learning theory, and dog training, and probably have forgotten more about dogs than most will ever know - but I like to put it to good use with my students, family and friends, as it is not what I do for a living. If you love dogs feel free to drop me a line! I can probably chat dogs for hours if allowed.. :-) I'm originally from New York and used to love the fall leaves there and trips to the ocean for boating and relaxing.
