T-Bones Steak House

My husband and I just had a wonderful experience dining out. We went to TBones located on District Blvd. Not only has it changed drastically from the original Amigos, it is a great experience in dining. I will have to say that for the first time in a very long time, I can not find one complaint. The service was great, the food was wonderful. The servers were around often took good care of you.

It was a wonderful experience and I would like for all of Bakersfield to know this. I had the halibut which was the best I have had in a long time, my husband and his friend had the t-bone special and my friend had the prime rib. We would all go back and look forward to our next time. The atmosphere is wonderful.

I would say the prices are comparable to any good steak house, but this one is unique. I think this restaurant can stand up there with the Outback or any other place that is know for their steaks. They have a piano player that plays while you dine which only makes it more fun. He is not overbearing and can do many songs and takes requests. He is quite good.
I would advise anyone who wants a great dinner to go there and experience it. I promise you, you won't go wrong.

They start out with bread, butter and salsa. They bring the salad which is served family style. It is also very good and has a tasty dressing. They they bring you beans that are to die for with fried cornbread. That, too is great. Then comes your main meal. They bring a caddy to your table of topping for your baked potato. It has many things to choose from like fresh bacon pieces which was a nice change.

The atmosphere is good and the owners take the time to come around an see how you are doing. It is just a very nice place to go.
