I saw this in the rose hedge outside the employee's entrance this morning. A stem was growing right out of the center of this rose! I've never seen such a thing before. I had to take a photo.

This shot was taken last fall, while flying in a hot air balloon over Sedona, Az. Flight lasted about a little over an hour, from launch to landing, and is worth every dollar - I highly recommend it.
