Songwriter Open Mic Night at ASR Studios

In an effort to encourage the growing music scene in Bakersfield, ASR Studios will begin hosting open mic nights for songwriters on August 26th. These nights will be open to the public whether you are an amateur or professional writer, artist, or just someone who appreciates new music. The stunning new Studio A will hold these events, with a sound system set up with several mics and a keyboard. The open mic night is free to attend or play at, and performances will be available on a first come, first served basis. We are currently working on live webcasts of the events and will keep you posted on our progress. We will be recording the performances, and CD's of your "Demo" will be available for a small fee. Be early for first availability.
