Thanks to the Kern County Sheriff's Department, Rockwell & his security cameras and dispatch all working together, an arrest was made quickly after the crime was committed. When it came to Rockwell's attention via security procedures at TROUT'S, that vehicle vandalism had taken place just seconds ago, Rockwell immediately closed the area off and called the incident into the Kern County Sheriff's Department. While security equipment rolling Rockwell hit the "Streets of Oildale" for clues as to the whereabouts of the bad guy. All the while thinking that this might have been a somehow associated to a One and a half million dollar lawsuit, involving slander, defamation and intentional interference with business, Rockwell was awarded judgement to by the Kern County Superior Court just days before. Rockwell tracked the bad guy still carrying a 3 foot axe down and while on camera all with dispatch on the line, then both air and ground support cornered the vandal and detained for questioning. The suspect weapon matched the imprint pattern on the vehicle as well as his unique shoes sole matching the shoe prints still obvious on vehicle as well. 
Hat's off to the Kern County Sheriff's Department and all involved that helped to come together to solve and reduce crime in our community.
