Aakhus qualifies for Short Course Nationals

Bakersfield Swim Club's, Randy Aakhus qualifed his 200 Indivdual Medely for the Short Course National competition at the USA Swimming Jr. Nationals. Seeded 68th from a field of 193 competitiors, Aakhus finsihed with a time of 2:09.75 in 47th place.. The Short Course Championship will be held at the King Aquatic Center in Federal Way Washington in December. Aakhus, a three year Bakersfield Californian all area athlete will be a senior this year at Frontier High school.
