A journey From Darkness into Light awaits the audience at a special concert event featuring the Bakersfield College Chorale and Chamber Singers with special guests, the Foothill High School Chamber Singers.
“This concert is intended to be an uplifting event from darkness into light,” said Dr. Ronald Kean, director of Bakersfield College choral activities.
From Darkness into Light will be presented on Friday, October 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church on corner of Stockdale Highway and Real Road.
This special performance features the College’s expanded 90-member choir and 31-member chamber singers under the direction of Dr. Kean, and with accompanied by pianist Elizabeth Cervantes.
From Darkness into Light is open to the public and tickets are $10 general admission and $5 for seniors, staff and students with ID. Tickets can be purchased at the door or through the Bakersfield College Ticket Office at 395-4326. For more information, call 395-4547.
