Did you know that police and fire personnel give children in tragic situtations stuffed animals to help comfort them?

The provisional class of the Junior League of Bakersfield (JLB) is accepting donations of new teddy bears and other small stuffed animals to donate to the local fire and police departments to help them in their efforts.  Police and fire personnel will distribute these donations to children in need of comfort during times of tragedy and distress.

If you would like to contribute, please bring your stuffed animals or  donations to the JLB building located at
1928 19th Street. Office hours are Monday-Thursday 9 am - 2 pm. Donations will be accepted until March 29th
