The intersection at Ming and Ash has a long, deep crevice just wide enough for a tire to fit down in.

Today, a relative was on his way to Memorial Hospital to be with his granddad before surgery. Instead, the two right tires of his truck got caught in this mess. He has damage to both tires and rims, plus his other damage.

As he waited for help, another car got caught in the crevice. What is wrong with the road repair in Bakersfield? There are numerous holes in the roads that are being ignored. The city is going to rack up a lot of lawsuits if they don't get on the ball and fix  them.

How hard  or expensive could it be to fill this pot holes?

Last year I did the same thing, only on a different road, I broke both of my wheels and blew out both tires on my scooter, just by the grace of God, did I not crash! I put in a claim to fix/replace just the wheels and tires, well the City is not liable for any damages it has been notified about the POT HOLE before hand... So, I was out of luck and almost $400...
