Look Out Parents; Drugs and Alcohol are easy to come By
Especially if You’re as Weak as I. And Don’t have God to Watch us by & by
Hypocrite I cannot be. So the Truth I must tell Thee
When some trouble did Arrive The Lord I put Aside
Hooked and dependent Became I And didn’t realize how Lost and Blind Was I
With the Help of God I Survive
My two Godchildren Every day Came by
To let me Know how Shameful I was going by & by
My Godchildren Daily Came By & Planted the Seed for me to Survive
My Godchildren Never Missed a Day To See
The Stupidity I was in for that Day
Drugs and Alcohol took the Toll
My Godchildren Came By To let me Know my Brain Was in a Deep Fry
Drugs and Alcohol the Reason Why
Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde Became I. They Knew But not I
They Still Came by and Let Me Know That Mr. Jekyll can Hyde No More
To God they Led me by & by And let me Know that
God Was the Only Way for me to Survive
I took some time – But Finally I Realized They were Right

To God I Went = I Begged and I Cried
“Please Eternal Father Free Me Before I Die.”

God Answered My Cry And Helped Me by & by
Hours and Hours my Godchildren Spent on Me
To Keep the Addiction & Craziness Away From Me.
Thank You God for the Helping Hand Now I Pray for my Godchildren
And Others like me to See the Truth
That will Set Them Free

I Praise Thee Oh My God
