While this is still in the early stages I would ask all Kern County residents to ask what has the state of California done for Kern County besides hit us with very high tax rates and punish businessowners.

When the voters of Kern County choose to secede from the state of California and petitions the state of Nevada to become Nevada's 17th county, and the state of Nevada ratifies this petition, we residents of Kern County will:

1) No longer have an Income Tax.
2) No longer pay into the worthless SDI (State Disability Insurance) program.
3) Will see casinos at the new state border at the Grapevine.
4) Will see Businesses migrate away from the LA basin and into Kern County.

This will allow us to leave California without actually picking up our roots. If a few other counties join us in our petition we can cut the state of California in two and diminish the influence of the California powers that Be!

Overnight we will all see an immediate income increase as California taxes and SDI will no longer be taken from our checks.

We have the right to do this. We need only the will and the votes. See you at the petition rally.
