Congratulations Alex, a bulldog at heart

0 responses 0 comments This is my daughter Alex Rosales, to her friends she is known as Aly. I am very proud of her and all that she has accomplished in the 4 years at Golden Valley High School. She is part of the full 4 year graduating class for this new school.
The sports she participated in were Varsity Volleyball, Soccer, & Softball. She has excelled in all of these sports, receiving (3) MVP Awards, (2) Coach’s Awards, (3) Most Inspirational Awards, (2) Most Dedicated Awards, (3) 1st Team All League Awards, (2) 2nd Team All League Awards, and (1) Honorable Mention Team All League Award. She was Captain for Volleyball for two years and Captain for Soccer all four years. She practices and travels with her Volleyball club. She received the Jockey Club Award for softball in her Junior Year.
At this time she is serving as Senior Class President, enjoying the challenges it brings. She was chosen by her class as “Most Athletic”. She received GVHS Outstanding Student Award in Physical Education, GVHS Outstanding Student Athlete Award, and Principal’s Award. She was chosen to be one of the spokespersons for the Smart & Sober Graduation commercial.
While doing all these activities she still made time for her studies. She has a strong spirit, and I know she will succeed in anything she sets her mind to. She will be continuing her education at California State University-Fresno where she will be studying Kinesiology. She tells me “Once a Bulldog Always a Bulldog”.
