0 responses 0 comments I caught this personal best 52# white sea bass on a recent trip to Catalina Island on The Old #7 out of Pierpoint Landing in Long Beach. The fish was caught on a Seeker 665H rod, Avet JX reel with 65# spectra and 30# flourocarbon topshot. Live squid on a 4/0 ringed circle hook with a 1/2 oz. sliding "egg" sinker was the hot bait.
