0 responses 0 comments The Woman’s Club of Bakersfield presents the 27th annual Festival of the Trees on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at the Rabobank Convention Center.
The gourmet luncheon will be catered by the Holiday Inn. Fashion show moderators will again be Channel 17 – KGET’s Jim Scott and Robin Mangarin. Sally Montgomery is Chairwoman of the event. This glittering event is our major fundraiser. Tickets and tables are still available. Generous Bakersfield businesses will decorate 74 trees complete with gifts that will be awarded to lucky ticket holders—and there will be numerous door prizes.
Due to the generosity of our guests and donors at the Festival of the Trees 2006, the Woman’s Club of Bakersfield was able to gift charities and award scholarships in the amount of $30,000. For tickets, an opportunity to be a Tree Donor or information regarding this event, call 325-7889.
