The Valley Plaza, along with major sponsors, provides nonprofits with an opportunity to raise money through the Festival of Giving. On November 11, 2007 the mall will close to the public and reopen at 7PM for Festival of Giving ticket holders. Included in the event are special store discounts, gifts, door prizes, entertainment and free gift-wrapping. Tickets are being sold for $5 per person and 100% of ticket sales benefit local nonprofits.

Covenant Community Services is a non-profit organization serving the public through various social services including: foster care placement, transitional housing, mentoring, mental health and family preservation services.
