I first started seeing Dr. Raj Patel when he was in practice at Kaiser Permanente. I was 15 years old at the time. When Dr. Patel left Kaiser to open up his own office it saddened me because I had Kaiser Insurance at the time.

Over the years my insurance went from Medi-Cal to private insurance. I still found my way back to Dr. Patel. Years went by and I had my share of not-so-friendly doctors with very little bedside manner. I remember when I started my new job and I had to attend the health benefits orientation and I found Dr. Patel's name on the list--I was so excited.

On my first visit back to see Dr. Patel it was like a reunion. Almost 10 years had gone by since I was his patient. I am now 34 years old and still a faithful patient of Dr. Patel's. I refer EVERYONE to him. On one of my visits he said to me "I saw one of your friends that you referred to me". I said "oh yeah?" He laughed and said "Yeah, you're going to have to stop referring everyone to me".. I laughed and said that I couldn't help it..

I can always count on Dr. Patel calling me after I have any tests done. He'll leave me a message to tell me everything is okay. He is the most caring, warm, thoughtful Dr. I have ever known. I love joking with him when I see him and asking how he is doing instead of him asking me how I am doing.

Dr. Raj Patel is such a God sent physician. I wish everyone had such a wonderful Doctor as I do.
