Several years ago I had the misfortune to come down with the shingles - painful. My right leg went numb and I fell, unable to walk. I spent a month in skilled care.
My physician S. T. Shiue, Internist, Pulmonary and Severe Pain Medicine, gave me care. He gave me confidence and courage to take on the task to learn to walk again. He took my hand and said, "We will walk again." With these words, encouragement, medicine and therapy, I am able to walk.
My physician will sit down and talk to you in his quiet voice, gentle manner, and talk about one's health problem. Many words of thanks to Dr. Shiue for being my physician and helping with my medical health needs for many years.
