0 responses 0 comments For patient care, “bedside manner” and professionalism, Dr. Mark Schamblin has to be among the best in Bakersfield.
Dr. Schamblin operated on my broken leg I suffered in a golf-cart accident recently. Opting to mend the bone with surgical screws rather than a cumbersome cast, he explained the operation in detail before hand then patiently answered all my questions during my recovery period. Never once did he hurry me through my follow-up visits. He seemed sincerely concerned that I was comfortable during the healing process.
I learned that Dr. Schamblin was top in his medical class and yet he chose to return to his hometown to practice. He appears very well liked by his staff even though his patient load is heavy.
His ability to focus on your injury as if you are his only patient is very gratifying. Most medical offices rush you through your appointment leaving you with unanswered questions and a sense of frustration.
Dr. Schamblin is a true example of the caring doctor and Bakersfield is fortunate to have him.
