My daughter Yarazeth is one of the youngest nominated to attend the Jr. Congressional Youth Council in Washingtion, D.C. this summer.

This opportunity is a once in a lifetime experience for her. She will be able to network with other students that are as driven as she and listen to Leaders of our Nation speak to the group. The week long trip takes the students to our Nations Monuments and has them discussing World Events and Exploring ways to create a better World from their perspective.

The problem we faced is the $1840 fee for the week long conference plus air fare. I am happy to say we have raised the $1840 in 3 weeks. We now have a 3 week window to raise the air fare. We are asking for help from the community, an account has been opened up for her at Kern Schools Federal Credit Union. We continue to sell breakfast burritos, baked goods, raffling off baskets and this weekend will do a car wash.
