If you are raising the child or children of a friend or family member, there is a new program that can help. Haven Counseling Center now operates a new support program called Kinship Support Services. Open house orientation meetings are held on the first and third Thursday evenings from 6:00-7:30pm at the Kinship Support Services Center at 316 H Street in Bakersfield. For more information about the services call 377-0377.
