Evolution just a 'theory'

Anyone who prefaces the word "theory" with the words "just" or "only" obviously doesn't even know what a theory is. The ignorant among us equate theory with belief. They aren't the same thing and no the belief that the world was created about 6 or so thousand years ago in 6 days isn't a theory. That notion, lacking any credible evidence, is based solely on the Bible, a secondary source of information.

Oh, yes and we note the sun comes up in the morning and goes down at night. We explain this with the theory of orbital mechanics. Yes, that's just a theory and no we don't really understand all the physics involved in why the solar system works the way it does but like the origin of the earth along with the other planets and everything else in the universe that theory explains the observable events based on a high preponderance of available evidence.
