 Eva Reynolds, my mother, will celebrate her 88th birthday on August 8th, 2008.  In other words, she will be 88 on 8-8-08.  While she may not move very fast, her mind is very sharp.  She keeps score for the daily domino games and will add the Yatzee total scores for all the players.  

Eva was born in Story, Ak, in 1920.  Her father moved the family to Exeter when she was two years old.  The family farmed in Exeter, with all six children helping around the farm.  Eva married at the age of 16 and had 8 children, 22 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.   While raising the family, Eva worked in Kern County agriculture, packing peaches and picking grapes.  She also sold advertising and Nutrilite/Amway.

Mother taught us to be honest and hard working, and to always give our best.  We will celebrate mom's 88th birthday with a dinner for all of her friends and family.
