The Kern County Women Lawyers Association installed two attorneys from the Bakersfield law firm Kronick Moskovitz Tiedemann & Girard (KMTG) on July 24 as President and Vice President for the 2008 - ’09 term. Kristin A. Hagan will serve as President and Ellen S. Elliott will serve as Vice President of the non-profit association comprised of lawyers, law students and judicial officers.

Hagan is an associate attorney with KMTG who provides real estate services to public and private sector clients. She primarily focuses on land use planning, where she provides advice and consulting regarding entitlement issues and mineral and surface accommodations. Elliott, an associate attorney with KMTG, represents private clients in the areas of real estate and business with an emphasis on transactions and litigation.

In their positions with the Kern County Women Lawyers Association, Hagan and Elliott aspire to bring new energy and members into the organization, and also spark interest with past members to rejoin. The Women Lawyers Association is a non-profit, voluntary bar association dedicated to the advancement of the science of jurisprudence, promoting the fair and efficient administration of justice, developing a high degree of ethics among the members of the legal profession, and promoting the advancement of the cause of equal rights for all persons in the United States.
