I noticed that Bakersfield resident Mike Valpredo was returning to cover the NFL preseason for the Bengals this August. In visiting family back in Ohio last month I read an article in the Cincinnati Enquirer has him noted among on their broadcast team. I also have seen him on the Fox sports arena football coverage and quite often on the horse racing network TVG. His family owns a farming operation in Mettler, where I believe he works during the week. Interesting to see a resident, and former local TV anchor, doing so much in sports televison. Any way to find out more about him and his travels for work? Another good Bakersfield story!
