Paige Smith and I have been in Girl Scouts since we were young. Paige, a freshmen at Garces High School, and I, a junior at Ridgeview High School, have worked together and showed teamwork throughout the process of supporting a great organization. We had many different wonderful ideas and finally ended up bringing them together and using the Kern County old country garden theme. In our scene we used many different antique items such as the plow and the scythe.
Our design is an old farm in the Kern County region. The almond tree, fence and grape vines came from Paige's mom, Kathy Smith. Our other equipment came from Kathy Simonson, a friend of mine who let us borrow her items from her ranch.
