I am a six-month-old, spayed, smoke colored female kitten. I have been at the Shafter Shelter for a long time and my time is almost up! I am playful and feisty. I love playing with other cats and do not mind cat - friendly dogs. I would do best in a home with older children because I can get a little rough when I attack your feet!
To adopt: Shafter Animal Shelter, 18825 S. Shafter Ave., 746-2140, www.shaftercritters.petfinder.com. Open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Saturday, by appointment only 3 to 7 p.m. Monday and Wednesday.
