Gerald Harp is pictured at the east Bakersfield train station in 1951 with
his wife, Imogene, and their son, Doug, and daughter, Sharon.
Gerald, a Marine, is saying goodbye to his family before heading off to
fight in the Korean War.
Gerald fought in World War II, and when the Korean War broke out he was
called back into service.
