Chinese American Association Announces 2009 Board of Directors

The Chinese American Association of Kern County (CAAKC) is pleased to announce its 2009 board of directors. The board of directors is responsible for the organization’s fiscal stability, membership recruitment, event planning and coordination of efforts with other local Chinese organizations.
The largest event planned by the CAAKC is the annual Chinese New Year dinner and performance, which is held each year around Chinese New Year. Upcoming events include a talent show, Fourth of July barbecue and a trip to the Huntington Museum.
