Reporter Jenny Shearer found out that Bakersfield Wal-Marts are seeking liquor licenses from the state Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.
No word yet on what kind of beer or wine would be sold if Wal-Mart gets the OK.

Now Target has announced it's selling more than 300 generic drugs for $4 for a 30-day supply.
(They're also offering some meds at a 90-day supply for $10, just like Wal-Mart unveiled on Monday.)

Wal-Mart is now offering 90-day supplies of some prescriptions for $10.

I spent most of yesterday talking to people about Wal-Mart's new drug plan. The retail chain is selling about 300 generic drugs at $4 for a month's supply. They kicked it off Thursday in Tampa Bay, Fla., and it could reach the rest of the country by next year.
