If you're at work and use Rosedale Highway to get home, you might want to consider a detour. A fiery crash happened around 3:30 this afternoon and eastbound 58 is closed at Allen Road. One lane is open for westbound traffic, though it's backed up for miles, as one could imagine.

Q: Does the city have any plans to build an overpass on Rosedale Highway, just west of Landco? At least twice a week I get stuck in a dead stop for anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes while a train blocks the roads hooking up to and dropping off cars. A pregnant woman was uninjured after a crash on Rosedale Highway on Friday afternoon.
The woman was at first reported to be in labor, but that was not the case, California Highway Patrol officers said. The crash happened at 3:27 p.m. just west of Allen Road.
