Light snow was falling on the Grapevine on Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
All lanes remained open but officers are urging motorists to drive carefully. Icy conditions were reported at the summit.

You really should learn how to drive better during the winter. Then maybe highway officials wouldn’t shut down the Grapevine.

The Interstate 5 closure at the Grapevine caused a bit of havoc at 9:15 a.m. Thursday when a drunk driver of a silver, 2-door BMW blew through a barricade at 100 mph at Fort Tejon, said CHP officer Greg Williams.
