I know Mike Hart. He is a friend of a professional boxer friend of mine in CA who has fought several matches with Mike as announcer, etc.

Mike is no idiot and he is certainly no over reacting "girly man"!

I'm sure Mike was talking about the "potential" for damage contained within the pit bull. Difference between a single shot pistol and a 5o cal machine gun!

I remember when I had a boxer. A very strong dog indeed! We used to play with a frisbee all the time. It got pretty beat up after a while but the boxer never put anyting but dents in the tough plastic.

One time I threw it to my buddies pit and he just grabbed it once, his owner took it and flung it back to me. It had bite marks all the way through it !! A hole for every single tooth in his head!

I really think Mike was reacting to the POTENTIAL of the pit bull to do damage as they were specifically bred for the purpose of fighting. Why do you think professional boxers can be charged with "attack with a "deadly weapon" when they merely use their fists?

I was only stating that if the pit was aggressive it would have attacked.

As far as Mike Hart...Never did say he was a girly man ha ha ummmm.. but I am saying you can't blame the breed just the [edit.] way they are sometimes raised by their IDIOT owners.
