The Difference Between
Republicans and Democrats

John McCain, Hillary Clinton, and Barak Obama were walking down a  Washington D.C. street when they came upon a homeless person.

The Republican, John McCain, gave the homeless person his business card and told him to come to his office for a job. He then took $20 out of his pocket and gave it to the homeless person.

Hillary was very impressed. When they came upon another homeless person she decided to help. She walked over to the homeless person and gave him directions to the welfare office. She then reached into John McCain's pocket and got out $20. She kept $15 for her administrative fees and gave the homeless person $5.

When they came upon yet another homeless person Barak told the homeless person to 'have hope...change is coming...' and gave him nothing.

Now do you understand the difference?

The difference is that the $20 Mc894 gave the guy was taken after he left by lobbyists for the oil industry, and the job he offered--picking lettuce at $50 per hour--was a phony.

For those who don't get the $50-per-hour lettuce reference:

(From the well-known liberal website, sorry...)

Superman, I don't think it's such a good idea to post a joke that has been floating all over the www for a while. Some people lay in wait for this type of thing.

I just thought it was funny, I just saw it.... I'll try to share newer stuff in the future.....

Not at all, Chico.  Just because *YOU* guys have to cut-and-paste, give us credit for off-the-cuff responses.

.

Mc894 certainly doesn't have any on *HIS* sleeves.  Same-old-same-old.  $30 rebate on gasoline, immediately funneled back into the oil companies?  "What a maroon..." (quoting, not copying.)

On one hand  "you guys" whine about  "no links" then you decry C&P (even with your minions doing it de rigeur viz MaggiePoo)

I'll never understand your side and the mentality -- which is why I cannot stomach Kieth Olbermann I guess.....

Chico "cannot stomach" what he cannot understand.  Must put you on a very limited diet.

.

There's a difference between providing a link with explanation (as I did) and cutting-and-pasting your argument without any thought (as BS did.)

Or Buffoo, who posts ancient, irrelevant dogma (with zero comments) and deletes anything he can't answer.  Must give him a feeling of godlike power to push that "smite" button--since his deity is AWOL.

At least *MY* deity tastes good with marinara sauce.  As I recall, his was something like a stale cracker.
