Look at the stats for the local stations. They are definitely Worthless. If you are looking to advertise I would avoid wasting my money on them: ABC23: (website ranking #232,802) LOL!!!

I predicted this might happen. I'd love to see a user survey asking why folks stopped commenting here. The number of commenter's/content providers has gone way down.The quality of cutn'paste posts may be a factor. I have to say that the great reporting done by James Burger covering the BOS is a real plus.

I don't believe there is a decrease in the number of active bloggers. Some come, some go. Some long timers don't blog as often as in the past (me for one) but that's because it's the samo samo. Different names, different profiles, but the same chatter. Same topics, same arguments, same bitter remarks, same bashing of both Dems, Reps, Libs, and Cons. And then there are those fun times when we share a joke of life experience. THAT's what keeps me coming back. As for the rest, as far as I can see it's just SOSDD. posted by

I come on for several reason : 1) to find hot woman who solicit Loan Modifications 2) to see how many times Tricky Nick or Vacant Dave can re-invent himself 3) to read the pompous rantings of DS 4) for an update from Bakersfield s own Rev. Sharpton/ Jesse Jackson who can only blog when there are inequities in Civil justice.... 5) to find out how many people say they are going to leave this site just to show up again the following week 6) Oh and to shove my Conservative views onto every Liberal....... posted by
