When I was knee-high to a grasshopper, my golfer Grandfather tried to get me to start playing with him. That stopped abruptly when I was about five years old.

For some reason, he thought it was ok for me to drive the golf cart in the country club’s parking lot. That was until I crashed it into the side of his brand new Mercedes.

For reasons you can imagine, golf has been a major turn-off for me since then.

I do understand what drew my grandfather to it and why it has now gained widespread popularitiy. If it's a sport you enjoy, local deals abound for golfing gear.
