It seems that the news is calling our economic problems a "recession" or even a "depression". It may have certain characteristics of these but it really is osmosis. Technology has now given us the ability to send our jobs overseas and until the American is willing to work for the same as someone in India or Mexico the jobs will flow out of this country, much like a more dense fluid will pass through a membrane if less dense fluids are on the other side. Much like Ross Perot's "giant sucking sound".

Again with technology our jobs are disappearing as machines are able to do more and more complicated tasks. Farming in already highly mechanized but with current advances there will be little need for a farmer. Machinery can plow or harvest crops within, I believe at this time, one tenth of an inch. It can also tell if moisture is needed and what fertilizer is needed. Agriculture jobs will be gone soon.

Americans had a false believe that corporations were part of our country. We protected them with gun boat diplomacy, overthrowing rulers that did not have our corporate interest’s number one. But now these corporations are grown, so like children that have grown up they are leaving the house, they are leaving America. They are now international and part of the global economy. The big Incs.  have moved on to greener pastures taking their fortunes with them and unfortunately leaving America as a wasteland for which they no longer have a use.
