Target gets in on cheaper prescriptions

The competition is on!

Now Target has announced it's selling more than 300 generic drugs for $4 for a 30-day supply.

(They're also offering some meds at a 90-day supply for $10, just like Wal-Mart unveiled on Monday.)

Here's a list of medicines that are included, listed by condition.

Or look at a list in alphabetical order.

Some over-the-counter meds will be sold for $4 too.

People who belong to AAA can log on to the AAA website and print a discount pharmacy card  which is honored at Target and other Bakersfield pharmacies. Just show this card along with your AAA card and get a discount on the prescriptions that you don't have insurance for.  I use my discount to buy  meds for my dog.  I have had AAA for nine years and I am so bummed that I only found out about the AAA discount last year. The cost of my dog's meds went from $13.46 to a little over $9.  I also used my AAA card to go to CALM at a discount.  Now a days I look at each savings as extra gallons of gasoline that I can buy.  Take the time to learn about the various retail discounts that are on the AAA website.  Don't forget AAA members pay discounted fees for notary services also.
