Things like that happen practically on a daily basis with Naval Aviation. I've got 1,000 hours in a CH-46 and BOY, could I tell you some stories. posted by

TonyH read your bio..liked what i read..anyone that enjoys taking time with young folks is OK in my book. We house and feed foster kids.. We have helped turn around quit a few of them over the years but also unfortunately lost a few too. When working with kids you have to accept you cant fix them all. Sometimes the damage was too deep before they came into your life. Just do your best and be big enough to realize that if you arent helping them maybe they need a higher level of care and no matter how much it hurts you have to let them go. Im not sure what level you are at dealing with young people so this might not pertain to you at the moment. Just an experience we have had you might keep in the back of your mind incase the situations rears its ugly head. posted by
