My husband and I have a routine.  We wake up, I make the coffee, he goes outside for the newspaper.  We sit at opposite ends of the kitchen table and swap sections of the paper while we each sip at our coffee.  This is a routine we've had for all 30 years we've been together.  Is it a rut or a routine?  I don't know, but it's comfortable.  TBC has disrupted us slightly with its occasional reformats (including last year's slimmed down format), but this takes the cake.  We can no longer swap sections of the paper and we can't read at the same time.  I HATE this format!!  If I wanted to read a tabloid, I'd have bought the Enquirer at Von's yesterday.  This is not a newspaper for the family!  Bring back the old format!!!
