HAIR’ lets loose
The classic American tribal love-rock musical is coming to the Empty Space through July

The Empty Space Theater is excited to present, “HAIR:  The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical!”

“HAIR” was a significant part of the drug, music and peace-love culture of the 1960s that was placed into national spotlight.

The show has a strong effect on everyone and acts as a bridge between generations and viewpoints.  Phenomenal musical numbers include Aquarius, Good Morning Starshine, Hair, and many more. The lyrics show more depth than noticed at first glance, borrowing anything from the drug culture to Shakespeare.

This show has vitality, timelessness, and a meaning that outlives the late 1960s and early 1970s in America. "...be free, no guilt, be whoever you are, do whatever you want, just as long as you don't hurt anyone."

<<Check out scenes from HAIR at The Empty Space!

This Utopian philosophy incorporates many concepts, which supply lyrics for a show comprised almost exclusively of rock musical numbers. As a social commentary of our times, “HAIR” provides an insight into the philosophy of the flower children of the 1960s.
Come see the first and most successful of the rock musicals this June and July at The Empty Space.

Running from June 29 through July 14, “HAIR” promises to be THE event of the summer!

*Join us for our “HAIR FAIR” on July 8 with from events from 12 - 3:30 p.m. - show at 4 p.m. - only $10!  Enjoy a performance of HAIR, live entertainment, booths, food, arts, crafts, giveaways, raffles, and much more!

Wow man, does anyone know where I can score some good acid man. Just joking.... I think...... anyhoo good luck with the show. My fave rock musical then, and now, was from The Who, "Tommy", now that would be an awesome production. Peace Out and Right On - Steve
