BIFF - Bakersfield Film Festival - This Weekend!
If my calculations are correct, there aren't any theatre productions playing this weekend (aside from Man of La Manca at Rabobank). Everything has closed, and no local production is opening until November 31st. Is that possible? Wowsers.
On the positive side of things, though, that leaves this weekend free and clear for you to check out BIFF at the Spotlight. Support art & artists, and be entertained! The Bakersfield Independent Film Festival 2.0
at THE SPOTLIGHT THEATER presented by seat of your pants Productions Friday at 7:00pm
Saturday ALL DAY
The Bakersfield Independent Film Festival is entering its second year of existence with an all new line up of exciting projects! With shorts, animated films, feature length productions, and more, the BIFF 2.0 looks to be an exciting time featuring the works of talented Kern County filmmakers! Extra features included in this year's festival include: talk back sessions with the filmmakers after the screenings; Production company tables so people can talk one on one with different aspiring filmmakers; guest speakers; raffles featuring fantastic prizes; and the winner of the Lords of Bakersfield film contest! Tickets for this event are $5 for a 3 hour block, $15 for the entire festival! This event has various rated material and not all projects shown are suitable for younger audiences. The Spotlight Theatre is located at 1622 19th Street, downtown Bakersfield. Call 661 634 0692 for more information or to make reservations. 0 comments from 0 users
