Superbowl Sunday
So I'm sure everyone knows this Sunday is the Super Bowl. I know its a popular gathering for my family. I have to be honest though, I only attend for the food. We mainly serve the basics chips & dip, lil' smokies, bbq wings, vegetable trays, sandwich trays, along with ribs and shish kabobs. And then my aunts decide we also need macaroni salad, potatoes, green beans, etc...the list goes on. It's almost as if they feel the need to cook more so they keep themselves busy. But anyway, moving on to what I was getting too. I'd like to know what items you serve for an occasion such as this? Everyone has the boring items bbq wings and chips with dip. But is there any famous recipe you use every year? Maybe a lucky item, for good luck, served for that special team? Please comment!

TRISCUIT PIZZA

mozzarella cheese
triscuit

pizza sauce
pepperoni

First get a triscuit. Spread pizza sauce on it, then get a pepperoni. Put it on top of the pizza sauce then put some Mozzarella cheese on top of the pepperoni. Microwave for 30 seconds.

OK,  to start off with, we like Bob's Famous Chili Dip, named after my buddy Opie....OK, his name is Bob, but he looks like Opie.  Anyway, it's one 8 oz package of cream cheese melted with a can of Hormel chili no beans mixed in.  Get a small package of about 6 italian sausage (your choice of  mild or spicy) and remove the casings and fry it up.  Add to the cream cheese chili mixture and server with tortilla chips.  Best serve warm.

How 'bout some country style ribs boiled for an hour with lemon juice and onion for 45 min to an hour.  Then smother with Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce and put  in the oven, covered with foil at 350 for an hour.  YUMMM!  And easy!

Now add some veggies for good measure, because were not total animals.  Oh wait,  I am an animal! WOOF WOOF!  DA BEARS!  GO BEARS!!!!!

Oh, one more thing.  Bloody Marys made with V8.  Woot, woot!

first: buy a 12 pack of premium, very good tasting expensive beer alomng with a 24 pack of cheap (keystone, schlitz lite) beer
2:drink premium beer for a nice buzz
3: now you are drunk enough so the crappy beer is tolerable and any food will be good
GO Colts!!!!
