If you go back into the blogs here at TBC to around October 20th or so, you'll find a couple of spirited discussions on the topic.

Korean, Japanese, and German prisoners  NEVER had the right of habeus corpus.  You people want new rights that uniformed soldiers never had; let alone non-uniformed renegades.

The election is over.  Democrats are already waffling on pulling out of Iraq.  Now that they already got the loony "pullout out now" crowd's votes, they are abandoning them.  Dems are now talking about MORE troops.  LOL

I wonder if that was because the Constitution grants to each citizen, the right to petition the court at any time that citizen believes a grievance exists? Your comment didn't give enough info about these people to speculate on, and I wasn't there when WW2 was happening. But they teach us that those people could always rely upon the following:

Anonymous,

Could you provide some sort of citation that says the Dems are "talking about more troops"? I have looked everywhere to confirm your allegation (even Fox isn't reporting such a story) and have found nothing.
