According to local news this morning, it is a lackluster election. Only about 25% of the voters are participating. About 50% of absentee ballots have been returned. It is scary to think our office holders and laws are decided by a small minority.

catpaw - You're so right about this one.  At least, hopefully, those who do cast their votes today are the ones who care who gets elected and those who are knowledgeable about the issues.

I have voted (absentee) already.  I wonder is the predicted low turnout due to this being the second "primary" this year for Californians?  Seems like a giant waste of our tax dollars.

I dropped two ballots off this morning.  Voted against Brehmer and Matt whatshisname.

Low turnout is an understandable frustration of the County Clerks Office. Elections cost the same no matter what the turnout.

It's also "widely known" that a bunny rabbit brings colored eggs and candy to American kids once a year, but no more true than your statement.
